In the cosmetics packaging industry, the surface quality of injection molds directly impacts the appearance and quality of the final products. Mirror polishing is a critical surface treatment technique that can achieve a mirror-like smoothness on the surface of cosmetics packaging molds, ensuring that injection-molded products such as cosmetic bottles and boxes are free from defects, with a bright and lustrous finish.

Cosmetics packaging molds are typically made from high-polish-performance steel materials(S136 ,NAK80, 12344ESR). If the mold surface is rough, it can cause scratches, air bubbles, or uneven gloss on the product surface, negatively affecting the brand image. Mirror polishing (mirror polishing) can meet SPI A-1 or A-2 standards, reducing the mold surface Ra value to below 0.05μm and achieving a high-gloss effect. This not only improves demolding efficiency but also reduces the need for subsequent product polishing, making it ideal for the production of high-end cosmetics packaging molds.

During the mirror polishing process for injection molds, avoid using low-quality abrasives to prevent surface scratches. For complex cosmetics packaging molds, electrolytic polishing or fluid polishing can be considered as supplementary methods. The advantages include: enhancing product aesthetics, extending mold lifespan, and meeting the requirements for optical-grade injection molding.
